| My father died 2 years ago today on this day. He was in the Air Force and flew gunships on Vietnam. I have a memorial in my front room with a flag, plaques he earned, C130 Model Plane, plane picture and the wedding picture of him and Mom. Mom died 9 months ago. I am feeling sad. I listen to Vietnam Protest songs and think of the 6os and 70s. I wear peace sign necklaces with my pearls at times. I loved the 60s and 70s. I feel sad. I think of all the wars. We need to honor the military. They protect us. I am thankful for the military. It was rough moving around when I was a kid but I am proud of my father. I salute the military. Honor the Vets and the military. |
| Prompt: What do you dislike about winter approaching? What do you look forward to about winter? We are having a blizzard! Six to inches of snow tonight. It is cold. Snowflakes on the windows. I had to cancel my Dentist appointment. I don't want to have cancel plans because of snow. I am not feeling well. Possible UTI. Waiting to hear back from my Urologist. Winter isn't starting out well for me. I do look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will miss Mom. Today wasn't a good day for me to write about winter. |

I remember that movie when I was a kid. I vacuumed today. I need to read Devotions. I will blame everything on the rain and snow. How is your weekend? |
| My Dentist Office called. I have an appointment Monday. It may snow and be slushy. Nice. My husband and his brothers atr going to finish cleaning out Mom's house. It will be hard to sell it. I have my own house and can't live there. Going to rain and snow this weekend. I cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed. This is my Friday. |
| I went to the Post Office and I will be getting Mom's mail for now on in 2 weeks. Y he Dentist gave me an appointment for February 4, 2026. I can't believe I have to wait that long. I go to Urgent Care. They won't have any providers until Monday. I went to the hospital and left a urine sample. My Urologist left me standing orders for this. I may have a UTI. The leaves ate turning red. We have a tree with golden yellow leaves. It is going to rain tomorrow. It may snow Sunday. Welcome to autumn and my life in Hooterville. |

| {Prompt: What are your favorite November traditions? Thanksgiving. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and peas. I always bake a Funfetti Halloween Cake or Chocolate Cake. My son used to stop by for dessert but he and his wife live in Oregon now. I enjoy watching Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. I love watching John Hurleys Purina Dog Show. On Black Friday, my husband takes me to Kate Spade and buys my Christmas and Birthday Presents. My November Traditions happen on Thanksgiving. That's about it for me. |
| My husband went to the Doctor and I went with him to get my Vitamin B12 Shot. I came home and did laundry. My uncle is going in for heart surgery next week. My cousin has heart issues. The government is still on shutdown. I go to the Dentist tomorrow. I have been having UTI issues. I hope my dilation I had done takes care of things. I hope things get better for all of us. Winter may not be friendly. We live each day as it comes. |

I still hope to write another dragon story or Regency Romance. Farmers are finishing up the fields. Winter is coming. I started watching Christmas movies. Christmas Vacation and A Mom For Christmas. I sure would like to know what is The Storymasters surprise. That's it for me. |
| November Foods. I love the smell of turkey. Cinnamon Rolls. Dressing. Pumpkin pie smells good. I don't like pumpkin but I like the smell of it. Gingerbread. Chocolate. Chocolate is good anytime. Gingerbread men. I love them. Chocolate Chip cookies. Orange is a good smell. Orange baked goodies. Sugar cookies. Apple pie smells good. I don't like apples but I love the smell of them. Potato Soup and cheese. This is a good winter smell. I think all foods smell good in the winter. I want to bake a chocolate cake and a turkey dinner. |
