Tri Matters
Today, I spent time watching my son compete in the Special Olympics, which was a statewide event. They had districts separated into Areas, but there was no Area 51. I think it only went to Area 24 unless I missed it. What a fun event!

While sitting in the bleachers, a group of young girls sat behind me, bantering like a bunch of '80's" girls. Dramatic and repeating word "LIKE" a lot. They were entertaining and I did my best to ignore them as much as possible, just to be polite if intentions mean anything. Of course, my writer's instinct picked up on a story opportunity... apparently, one of them was getting teased for being told to deliver a 'box' into a car some time ago, and she put the box in the wrong car. Sad, but funny! They were entertaining.

Since you were wondering, my boy did win a couple of second place medals. Good for him! He only cares about stickers, so they should have given him stickers. LOL

As they said in the games, "It only matters if you try."
