Does God Allow his children to starve?

Psalm 37:25
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

In light of the American government shutdown and the potential threat to SNAP benefit recipients, this has been on my mind lately. I even had a dream about it last night. There is so much chaos in the world right now. Personally, I think we are living in the end times. If everyone panics over the loss of SNAP benefits or the delay of them whatever the case may be, how are they going to react when the Mark of the Beast is enforced? We know that one day it will be sooner or later. I know that a lot of people rely on them for food, but who are we really trusting in, the government or God?

I am trusting in the Lord my God. He may use the SNAP benefit program to provide my needs, but when that fails and the government fails, my God does not.
Psalm 37:28

There are so many examples in the Bible proving this for a fact. The following passages are a few of them.
1 Samuel 21:1-6
1 Kings 17
Exodus 16:11-13
1 Kings 19:1-8

Even Jesus himself addressed the topic in his sermon on the mount.
Matthew 6:25-34

Why are we so afraid we aren't going to have what we need. The Bible doesn't say we will never get hungry, but it does say that God will supply ALL my needs. Personally, I choose to stand on the promises of God.
Philippians 4:19
