Of Balconies

“Romeo, Romeo, why are you Romeo?”
she clears the misunderstanding
an enquiring voice in the theatre
while every head turns at the misquote
and Romeo himself in the garden
gazing up at the gallery
ponders on the twists of reason
induced by the heights of balconies.
