My Heart Laid Bare
Prompt: "My Heart Laid Bare" By Edgar Allan Poe said if any man or woman dared write such a book with complete frankness it would be a masterpiece. But to write it-is the rub. No man or woman would ever dare, no man or woman will ever dare write it. The words would shrivel in a reader's eyes. Do you agree or disagree and would you write a book bearing your heart or soul?

I feel a writer will write anything he or she wants. Edgar wrote spooky stuff and he was entertaining. Baring my heart. I wouldn't. I like to write fiction and I may throw parts of me in a story but no one will know which parts. I like it that way. Actors and singers write Bios and say way too much. Like Cher. We have the right to write what we want. Poor Edgar bared his heart and soul and it shows in his writing I am sure. read between the lines. This is how you handle a true story baring your heart and soul. Quote the raven: Never More!
