What makes a home.

My mother passed away nine weeks ago. My cousin, son, daughter-in-law and myself cleaned out her house. She has beautiful white furniture. My husband and I just bought two recliners and a couch. So, we didn't need the white furniture. My other cousins are taking this furniture.

A beautiful China Hutch with red and white flower dishes and crystal bowl and cake plates. I took the China Hutch. I added Teddy Bear Plates, Princess Diana Plate, 3D Barbie Doll Plate and a pink and blue tea pot. I did add my Jane Austen Tea Pot and cups I got from a friend here. These are from The Jane Austen Shop. I want to add my pretty red rose tea pot and tea cup to the Hutch.

I moved in a jewelry box that stands on the floor. This is my mother's and she gave me one quite a few years ago. I have a lot of jewelery and pearls are my favorite and I have a few diamond rings.

I have a gold brass bed with red flower knots. I decorate my bedroom with Wolf pictures.

My kitchen has etched glass cabinets. I have blue countertops.

I have white wicker furniture in my room edition. I have a red, velvet recliner and a wicker rocking chair with a Rusty Designer Doll that has red hair. The woman who gave it to me died and I promised the friend, this Doll named Angelique will stay with me until I pass on. I have a white wicker coffee table. Dad was in the Air Force and Mom had a table with a model of a C130 plane, picture of her and Dad, plaques honoring Dad's services in Vietnam, his obituary and a Stein made out of a C130 part. This piece of furniture is a Tribune to my father.

I have cherry wood furniture throughout my house. I have a Doll Room with a cherry wood curuo cabinet and I have Rose Dolls from the Titanic and England Royal Family Dolls and vintage Barbies along with Snowbabies Cinderella, porcelain Elsa and 10 plastic smurfs, a porcelain Cinderella and porcelain Skipper in the cabinet. I love dolls.

I have three book shelves of books. I am a writer and I love books. I have a shelf of Jane Austen published books and my two published books blend in well with my Jane Austen Books.

My mother had a flower garden with a Grey bench by a patch of woods. Dad planted his vegetable garden by the pole barn.

I used to plant flowers in my Teddy Bear Planer, Deer Planter and other flower planters. I have decorations of Gnomes, Raccoon, Lighthouse, Dog and a Frog.

We all decorate our homes proudly. I have pictures of my family on the entertainment center. I also have a small picture of Queen Elizabeth even though I don't live in England but I am part English. I enjoy a beautifully decorated house. I hope you have enjoyed reading this.
