More Responsibility now

More Responsibility Now

Last Sunday, when I went into work, I found out that I should be checking the trucks in and out of where I work. I also found out that I should sign for the trucks coming in. Both responsibilities I didn’t know I was supposed to do until now. Now that I do, I will take up some time with my writing, especially on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

It’s not as busy where I work during my Sunday evening and Monday morning shifts. I still may have to check a truck or two in and out, I may even need to do some signing, but it won’t be as bad as my Saturday evening and Sunday morning shift. What does that mean for my writing?

It means that I may be slowed down a little bit more regarding my time to work on my writing at work. I don’t think it will take up too much of my time, though. Maybe another fifteen minutes to half an hour more that I will have to spend on my new responsibilities at work tonight and tomorrow morning. I’m not sure about tomorrow evening, yet.

I think that my Sunday evening and Monday morning shift will probably be about fifteen minutes to do my new responsibilities at work, if it takes that long. However long it takes for these new responsibilities, I don’t think that it will affect my time for writing that much, if it slows me down at all.

Speaking of my writing, I’m ready to start working on my sentences for my Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It took me about an hour longer than I thought it would, but I got it done without too many problems. Why did it take me so long to finish setting up my Water Wars documents?

It wasn’t the sentence Scene Outlines. They weren’t too hard to change from two secondary characters of Reen, Voonc, and Kiirra to one secondary character that begins and ends each Act for each Part or Episode of this project. I did have some with the color-coding, though.

I don’t do color-coding with my paragraph Story Outlines and Scene Outlines. After all, these are the Outlines that a producer, director, agent, etc. may want to look at, but I do with my sentence Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines. Black is for the three main characters of Chaad, Suuri, and Hoolle. The secondary characters are in red.

The secondary characters, I didn’t have to worry about. After all, the cutting and pasting I did with these characters didn’t affect their redness. It was for the main characters because of the color blue that I used for my Scene Fives and Scene Tens. The color blue didn’t affect the secondary characters.

At least I hope that I’m ready to start writing these sentences. So far, it looks like I have solved my OneDrive, aka The Cloud, problem. I had a big problem with it last Sunday evening and Monday morning, but I think that I have also solved that problem. As long as I Save As from the drop-down File menu, I will stop this from happening again.

I think that it has been using the Save Icon that has been causing all my problems at work because of the lack of internet, which I don’t have there. The Save Icon is supposed to save my writing to my laptop, but I think it’s saving it to OneDrive instead. Hopefully, this way won’t be doing that.
