She scribbled as fast as possible, heart fluttering. Every goofy thought went into her letter:

“I wish you were here.”

“Mom said she hopes you're ok. So do I.”

“This song reminds me of us.”

“I'm sealing this letter with a kiss.”

He pored over the letter, hearing her sweet voice in his ears with every word. He scribbled back:

“You'd like it better here.”

“Mom said she prays for you every night.”

“This song is about us, honey.”

“I'm kissing your seal—it's as close as I can get to you.”

♡

Together again, they lived a real life love letter.
