Congratulations on your virtual blogging adventure! Hi!

Trees are on my mind this summer. We want to plant a orchard of fruit trees. I have a couple small apple trees growing in pots. Maybe I will get the orchard started.

Last year and now this summer I noticed how heavy the foliage on the trees is presenting. Last winter was far heavier than several years before. Now I wonder if the heavy number of leaves and needles on the trees is a sign of heavy snow and cold this coming winter season. Looking out my window the deep green of herbs and foliage behind the hay fields make it seem as if the wilder forest would like to overrun the open fields.

Makes me think of how the forest walked in one of the "Hobbit" wars. Hmm. Overcast skies, daily thunderstorms Maybe I have a touch of cabin fever. *Smile*
