A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Spreadsheet Finally Finished
Spreadsheet Finally Finished

Today was as bad as it was yesterday when it comes to my DeathBringers scriptwriting project, but it was still bad. I didn’t get to this project until the middle of the afternoon. Why didn’t I get to this project before then? What is the usual reason I don’t do more writing or setting up than I thought I would?

It’s because of what my brother and I needed to get done today. I knew that we had a couple of things that we needed to accomplish today, but I didn’t think it would take us that long to do them. Unfortunately, I was wrong about that. It took us a lot longer than I thought it would.

As a result, I didn’t get to my DeathBringers scriptwriting project until the middle of the afternoon. I only had about four hours to work on this project. Luckily, it didn’t take me that long to finish creating the spreadsheet for this project. Unfortunately, I barely got it finished today.

I didn’t have the time today to start setting up the documents for my sentences and paragraphs for my Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines for this project. If I have the time tomorrow, I will start working on these documents.

It shouldn’t take me too long to set up these documents. I changed the two-part Movie Introduction to a four-part mini-series. The fourth DeathBringers storylines that have been added to the first four episodes of this anthology television series have also been changed slightly.

The storylines and scene allocation for these storylines will be the same as the mini-series, as it has been for the Movie Introduction. Only different is that the Movie Introduction was a two-parter, and the mini-series is a four-parter. These storylines have been stretched out.

Like a lot of my two-part Movie Introductions, I tried to cram too much into those two parts. By making it a four or five-part mini-series, I can stretch these storylines so that they aren’t so cramped. It will be easier to represent them this way. At least I think that it will.

As for the episodes, the additional DeathBringer storyline makes it the same as the Movie Introduction and the mini-series. It makes them four storylines instead of three. The only difference is that these storylines aren’t part of the beginning and the end of the episodes.

These storylines are the third or fourth storylines. That makes them important to these episodes. They will still have the same number of scenes, but they will only begin one Act and end one Act, unlike the first and second storyline, which will begin and end two Acts in each episode.

There are two ways I could make them even. One way is to not include the DeathBringer storyline. The second way is for each episode to be two hours long instead of one. That way, they would be like the Movie Introduction. I don’t like either one of these suggestions, though.
