Day 5 California's Joshua Tree National Park

What a wild adventure! I'm not a hiking person nowadays, but I did when I was younger and more in shape. I will gladly take pictures of everybody who wishes to pose during their ascent/descent from these bold God-shaped formations. I promise, I'm an excellent cheerleader!

Sung'manitu Princess Megan Rose Lyn's a Witchy Woman WakeUpAndLive~Petra's Vacay seem to be leading the charge into this foray. I sometimes feel like a stick in the mud, but then I remember groups need a go-for, a cheerleader, and a pack mule... at myself.

Of course, there are the oooo's and ahhhh's of the Sunrise Hike. Hopefully everyone got a good night's sleep so they don't miss the day's awakening. I've always enjoyed a beautiful sunset, but a quiet sunrise has its own breathtaking beauty. A hot cup of coffee from the thermos tops off such a perfect moment. I'm glad I broke down and got some comfy boots.
