Mini Rant....maybe more

OMG! I'm so over it. Relationships have devolved into a business proposition. Why in the world would you date, let alone marry someone who values the "things" over the relationship? People have become so socialized in the media that other people's opinions matter more than the relationship.

Red flags, people! No wonder the divorce rate is over 50%. No one wants to work on themselves and become a better person. It's all about appearances. If the appearances aren't there, then "I'm out". People used to work together for common goals...a home, a car, a family, permanence. Now...it seems everything is out of order. People making babies without having basic fundamentals down. How about a budget? How about stability?

I know a lot of crap is on YouTube for reactions and views. I'm over it already. It is time to grow up and be accountable. The extended childness of people is old news. It's not an attractive look. Beauty is really more than skin deep; not that you can tell these people anything.

Ok, rant over.

On a positive note, I love the homesteading channels for the most part. Sow The Land and Hollar Homestead are two of my favorites. I had another one, Living Traditions Homestead, but they have decided to take a break from YouTube. I can't really say that I blame them.

I also enjoy watching renovations and quilting projects and crocheting projects. I guess I shall just have to reset my attention to these things, and maybe get some of my many projects going or done.

Hopefully, this too, shall pass, and "normalcy" will come back. At least I hope so.
