A Psalm of David, asking to be delivered from King Saul. David spent some time on the run from King Saul, when Saul realized that God had left him and favored David. David's heart cried out to God, and God did deliver him. We learn of David's "feet of clay" later on, but at that time, his heart was towards God. We have many restaurants here in Lubbock, and there are always ones popping up and closing down. I pray God guides those who want to provide service, and for those who are following in God's footsteps. Keep people safe, and businesses profitable that try to follow You. I guess my favorite thing is that I can have a wonderful relationship with a loving Father who cares for me. If I don't talk to God, it isn't He that has moved away. Help me to always be mindful of that. I don't care for those who use God's word to "scripture whip" those who are "unworthy". We are all unworthy, and if it weren't for God's grace and mercy, we'd all be in the same boat.
