Day 13, Chicago, Illinois

We headed on a plane to Chicago, Illinois. I live 2 and a half hours from Chicago. I love seeing Lake Michigan as you enter. That is beautiful. I went to Chicago on a three day Chicago trip for a college class. Our one Nun had us take a class about Chicago. We were in the bad streets of Chicago and I was offered a job as a topless dancer! I turned it down. I remember riding the L trains. They are different.

We are in Chicago. We found our hotel rooms. They look fancy like the ones you see on TV. We linked arms. The rooms are huge and blue coloring. I feel rich staying at these different hotels. Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka has his own room. We are ready to start our tour.

We took a cab to Skydeck. The traffic is heavy. Skyscrapers. Somebody honks at our cab driver and he says: "Eat my shorts." Cute. There are so many stores. Finally, we arrive at Skydeck. I remember this! The Sears Tower! I was here years ago. It is really tall just like I remembered. We go in a glass elevator. Going up. You can see the skyscrapers and the city. The city. I am used to seeing cornfields. Blue skies above us. You stare out glass windows. I see dogs on a lease. I wonder what the dogs think. This is neat. A bird stops by to look at us. Cute. We can see airplanes. There is a helicopter. We get out of the elevator and go look at binoculars. You can see more of the city. I think you can see the whole city. It is a good experience.


we come down. We leave the Skydeck. We go to eat at a restaurant. It is like the Pump Room. It looks like a restaurant that the rich of Titanic ate in. There are old pictures. Horses and buggies. A seven course meal. I felt like a Queen. The others did, too. We had shrimp, chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, breads, three different cheese sauces, rolls, peas, carrots and a variety of desserts. Peanut Butter Pie, Chocolate Cake, Brownies, Strawberry Pie, Marble Cake, Orange Cake, Chocolate Chip Muffins. This has been heavenly. Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka took some chocolate cake for me. So sweet. StephBee said she was going to make her family a meal like this.

We go to the history museum. Dinosaurs. They look so neat. I love the vegetarian ones. TRex ones. Other dinosaurs. Cavemen. The Egyptian Times. King Tut. WakeUpAndLive~NOV Word Monger talked to him. Giant Phantom Jelly Spooky Kooky Krista and I thought we heard the dinosaurs growling. I love the Victorian Display. Women dressed in Victorian clothes. I am so there. Maid of the Mist Most Macabre loved this display. A Warped Witch I Be liked the dinosaurs. I really love the Jurassic World Dinosaurs movies.AmyJo-Zombie hours and I went to the Queens Display. Marie Antionette, Joan Of Arc, Henry VIII'S wives. I love Queens. Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka liked the dinosaurs best. We all took a lot of pictures. StephBee and I were getting ideas for Medieval romances. AmyJo-Zombie hours said she was thinking of Victorian poems to write.

We are going back to the hotel. I think I will watch TV. It has been a good day.
