Almost Fifty to Seventy-five

Isn’t this my fourth day in a row that I only got about fifty to seventy-five sentences written during that day? If I remember right, it was forty-eight the first day, seventy-five barely the next two days, and another fifty today. It has not been a very good week for my writing of my mini-series for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project.

I know that my brother and I have had a lot to do this week, and what we needed to do took up a lot of time I should have been devoting to my writing of these short stories and my DeathBringers scriptwriting project, but I still had plenty of time to devote to my writing. Why didn’t I get more written on this project this week?

Of course, I did have my second Short Story to finish writing this week. I also created these short stories this week before I started working on this scriptwriting project, but I should have gotten more sentences written during the time I could devote to my writing. Why didn’t I? That’s a good question that I can’t answer right now.

The only things that I can attribute to my not getting more written while I had the time to devote to my writing are the weather and my lack of sleep. It’s mostly the weather being so hot that it makes me weak and tired, but it has been the lack of sleep too. I have only been getting about six to seven hours of sleep, and that isn’t too well.

Six to seven hours of sleep a night should be plenty of sleep for me, especially if it’s seven or more hours, but it wasn’t this week. I think it was because of the weather. It has been very hot this week, and when it gets this hot, I feel weak and tired. That has also affected my writing. At least I think it has, and looking at this proves that.

I should have gotten more written over the last few days. The two seventy-five sentence days weren’t too bad considering how much time I had to devote to my writing, but the forty-eight and fifty weren’t too good. There should have been more written on those two days. I don’t know what else it could be because of the weather and a lack of sleep.

Unless it’s my diabetes and the changes in my life, after all, it has only been two weeks since I found out I had diabetes, which changed my life. I still haven’t gotten use to that yet. I’m starting to get used to it, but I still have a long way to go. It’s probably a combination of all three: the weather, the lack of sleep, and my diabetes.

Unfortunately, today is the last day this week I will be working on my Deathbringers scriptwriting project. Hopefully, I can get more sentences written every day starting this Monday. After all, I’m returning to work tomorrow. That means I’m returning to working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project.
