Jots and Tittles and other Random Things

Day 14 Indianapolis, Indiana

Indy 500 and an escape room! Oh, boy! The crowd is wild and noisy. The cars rev up their engines, and the flag goes down! Off the different colored vehicles go and the excitement soars. My eardrums are shot, even though I have headphones on to try to protect what little hearing I have left. All around me are the various members of our traveling band, Lyn's a Witchy Woman SandraLynn Princess Megan Rose Krista . A little further down from us is Sung'manitu WakeUpAndLive Richard ~ Looking for Luck! and StephBee . It is useless trying to talk above the roar, we just laugh and point. Somebody thought to get us all a round of hotdogs and beer or tea to drink, and I'm glad of it. Turns out that all the noise makes a person hungry. Ha!

Later on that afternoon, we are still trying to get our hearing back to "normal". What a way to end the day, with an escape room. More heart pounding, as we get our bearings trying to figure out clues that will get us out of this maze. I try to keep my mind open, and am willing to try different combinations in order to find the different keys. It definitely is a group effort, as sometimes one can't get past one's self in order to figure out the escape. Whew!!! after what seems to be an eternity, we finally pour out into the lobby. How long were we in there? It seemed like hours, but it really wasn't that long. Now to get the heart to slow down. For me, I'm ready for a hot shower and a glass of wine so I can relax and go to sleep. I've had enough adventure for today.
