This is a prompt from long ago. I will try to do better.

I am trying to do a little catch up for my Blog Circle of Friends. There are too many but then I will do my best to pick out the ones I think you might enjoy.

There were three lines and we had to pick one.
Dr. Seuss is a young person’s favorite. I read a few of these poems to students and was happy to see smiles and hear giggles.
But then I remembered that I had a poem almost like that.
SEUSS:
Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is your than you!

ME:
"Me!
I am me!
I know I’m me.
I’ve been me all my life.
I can’t be you.
because you are here
standing next to me.
I can play.
You can play.
And we can play together.
When I go home,
I’m just me.
But when I am playing with you,
it’s you and me,
playing together
as friends!"


From 1-20-2013. I had just started my poetry work and now see the wonder and fun it is to do, write and reread.

Who are you? I don’t know, but I would be happy to hear from you.

Who am I? Well, I’m just ME. Like a puzzle I am looked at from different positions and show you something different. It is like the sky. Each day is different. So enjoy your day whoever you are. But be you.
