What a night

We were all dressed in our England shirts and shorts,
Melissa, Emma, Tulisa-rose, Alessia, Lisa and myself,
Glasses topped up with wine and nibbles to hand,
The joy soon turned to upset as we were 2-0 down, it was a very long wait and we were level at 2-2,
Now the atmosphere was joyous,
Extra-time, penalties,
We'd done it, the Lionesses won 3-2 on penalties, screams filled the room, we all hugged and kissed,
Now we had it all to do again against Italy on Tuesday,
Lisa was very excited and led me upstairs to score with her,

I'm sat here quietly at work enjoying my break time cup of tea reminding myself of a wonderful evening we'd had.
