Interesting month!


Yes indeed this has been an interesting month. Not all of the events tickled my fancy or made me smile. Snd if I had to do this month all over, I would say , "No thank you."
Here are a few things.
1. The flood in Texas, my home state, left me devastated. All of the children, at Camp Mystic were faced with a terrible storm and flood that killed almost all of these beautiful children who were trying to make friends, enjoy the outdoors and learn more about religion they loved. Their deaths were unbelievable. The adults and camp counselors who were trying to save them were lost. It was tragic and heart-breaking as well. Blames poured out on everyone. And it might take years to really establish the critical factor. lBut as I think about it, I cannot blame but begin to develop an idea or plan on who to prevent this in the future. Note that campers, and residents of the area lost some loved ones as well.
They say Tesas strong but that can't bring back what and who were lost.
2. There was a fire and explosion in Rome that I did not hear about but this was bad as well.
3. Important figures or celebrities pass away. Ozzy Osbourne, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Hulk Hogan were well known. They had their followers who are mourning and will honor them in their own way. Peace be with them all.
4. My sweet little niece, who is married now. Is very overdue for the birth of her first child. I worry because a first child is special. This young lady is well educated and participated in sports which should have made her strong to go all the way to a happy birth. The child, who is a girl, almost a month overdue. We all want the bests for her and her husband who would give anything to see both doing great on that special day. He will make a great father.
5. One of my neighbors is angry that I am feeding ducks that swim in the pond wow live around with about 15-20 other houses. The ducks mind their own business and just waddle on the sidewalks or swim in the pond. It is beautiful and relaxing to watch them swim. The neighbor is using a laser to frighten the ducks. She does not like any water fowl but chose to live at a place that has a lot of water. Go Figure.
I am sure that there are other tragedies or miserable things happening in this month alone. The saying "If you can't bend then you will break," I think I would like for July to hurry up and Go into August sooner than later.

Now the one thing I worry about the most is 4. My niece is family. And family must stick together and pray for each other. Family should not hold grudges or ideas of getting even. That is childish and non-productive. Family should only send positive thoughts with love. Even if someone had an argument a long time ago, that which was in the past, it should stay in the past. Bury it. Let it go. Find it in your heart to forgive. (I'm getting off track for this post. Sorry)

Maybe the doctor and my niece miscounted her days. All I want is to get a phone call that this little girl and her mother are fine and resting in the hospital. Their date to come home is a few days. Pictures will be sent later.
