A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
That’s All This Week Today, I got one hundred and forty-eight sentences written for Episode Two, ‘After the Vexions,’ instead of the one hundred and ninety-eight sentences I was hoping to get written today. Why didn’t I get more sentences written today? There are two reasons why I didn’t get more written today. One reason is that these are new storylines to me. It’s like my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I have written the two-part Movie Introduction that is now a four-part mini-series so many times that it wasn’t hard for me to write it, but that isn’t the same for the first four episodes of this anthology television series. I have been having a lot of problems writing these episodes. I knew what I wanted to write, but I didn’t know how to write it, especially in the Teaser Act. Once I got past the Teaser Act, it got a lot easier to write these first two episodes, but even then, I had some problems with them. Those problems also slow down my writing of these episodes. If I had written these episodes a million times, like I have with the DeathBringer Movie Introduction, which is now a mini-series, I probably wouldn’t have had all of these problems. Then again, maybe I still would have had them. After all, they aren’t the only reason for me not getting more written today. These sentence problems aren’t the only reason why I didn’t get more sentences written today. Another reason is my lack of concentration. I have had a lot of problems concentrating on these episodes, especially today. After all, I knew something was wrong with these episodes. Now I know why I have been having problems concentrating the last few days. I think that I have always wondered about these episodes. After all, these storylines are lopsided. Two of the four storylines for these episodes are getting twice as many scenes as the other two. That isn’t far for the other two. There are two ways that I could solve this problem. One way is to make them all two-part episodes. The other way is to cut back on four storylines for every episode to three storylines. I don’t want to make them into two-part episodes. That only leaves me cutting back to three storylines instead of four storylines for every episode. Unfortunately, I can’t do that this week. All I will be cutting back on are the DeathBringers storylines. These storylines will still be in each episode, but they will be part of the other three storylines instead of storylines on their own. These DeathBringers will still be a big part of these episodes, just not as big as before. Unfortunately, I can’t make any of these changes this week. After all, this is Friday. Which means I’m no longer working on my DeathBringer scriptwriting project this week, unless I have time to work on it tomorrow before I return to work. I doubt that I will have the time to work on these changes, but I may have an hour or two to start working on them. I may even have some time to work on them this weekend while I’m at work. After all, I’m updating my two movies this weekend. Hopefully, that shouldn’t take me all weekend to finish updating them. Instead of starting to work on their sentences, I could start updating my DeathBringer scriptwriting project. It’s something to think about doing. |
