Day 29 Thornton and Bretton Wood, New Hampshire

We got on a plane and flew to New Hampshire. It rained but the plane stayed sturdy. I read some more of my Danielle Steel book. The plane landed. We went to our hotel. The rooms are a mixture of autumn colors on the wall. Neat. It looks like the outdoors. We unpacked and got into taxis. We arrive at Franconia Notch. We rode bikes and saw the Pemigewasset River. Reluctant Halloweenist SpookyBee Giant Phantom Jelly are kayaking. I went and sat on a big rock by the river. WakeUpAndLive~NOV Word Monger AmyJo-Zombie hours sat with me. A Warped Witch I Be is on a kayak. A big wind came up but the kayak friends rode the ripples or should I say waves? Spooky Kooky Krista went for another bike ride.

We went to Mount Washington. We saw an old lighthouse. The valley by the mountain was deep. We kept our distance. There were poppies by the mountains. We all took pictures. There was snow on the mountains. The trees looked like autumn. There was a train on the track. It looked like the Cannonball on Petticoat Junction. There was a big castle by the lake and the mountains in the background. I am the Queen Of The Mountains. Reluctant Halloweenist pretended like he was the lighthouse keeper. WakeUpAndLive~NOV Word Monger A Warped Witch I Be Giant Phantom Jelly were my ladies in waiting. AmyJo-Zombie hours Spooky Kooky Krista SpookyBee hung around the lighthouse. The lighthouse is probably 6 feet, taller then me and is made out of grey stone. It is neat.

We went back to the hotel to have dinner. A seafood meal or a see food meal and you eat it. It was a nice day. Another adventure tomorrow.
