50 STB - Beach Day in Oregon!

We all agreed we needed a place to just chill out and enjoy the nature so the Party Bus headed toward Cannon Beach, Oregon. Personally, after all that adrenaline rush in Ohio, I’m ready for a nice relaxing day in Oregon.

We drove through Cannon Beach downtown’s area and stopped at Sleepy Monk in mid-town for coffee and pastries. WakeUpAndLive~snowflake wonder loved the coffee. Oh Come, all Ye Jellyfish 🔔 and Witchy Woman couldn’t stop gushing about the banana bread. Elf Princess Megan Snow Rose enjoyed the pastries. Heck, I’m a sucker for a good cheese Danish. As we were buying pastries, Elf Princess Megan Snow Rose son showed up with Peyton. She’s very happy.

It’s a good thing Winter Wonderin' Wanderin' found the 7-11. Her 64 oz Big Gulp was getting low.



We visited a few more shops in downtown Cannon beach. Oh Come, all Ye Jellyfish 🔔 and AmyJo-Where did 2025 go??? stocked up on their salt water taffy and we stopped by a sandwich shop, buying several sandwiches for lunch.

We drove over to Ecola beach and found out where they filmed the Goonies. AmyJo-Where did 2025 go??? had no idea what a goonie was. Then we took a hike from Ecola Beach to Cannon Beach. Elf Princess Megan Snow Rose thought it was cool to see some of the spots were Twilight was filmed. Ded Moroz drove the Party Bus over to the Day use area. We unloaded our towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. We found a great area and set up our beach camp. Ded Moroz and Witchy Woman went surfing. Heck, ❄️ Krista 🎄 and I threw a Frisbee in the water. Oh Come, all Ye Jellyfish 🔔 and WakeUpAndLive~snowflake wonder went to harvest muscles. Winter Wonderin' Wanderin' channeled her inner girl and started making a big sandcastle. Elf Princess Megan Snow Rose and her son helped her. ❄️ Krista 🎄 took pictures of Haystack Rock for her Instagram with Peachy. After a couple of hours, we pulled up around the chairs and coolers and enjoyed a sandwich lunch.

We all laid out in the sun and got some sun for a suntan. Peyton, Sprout and Peachy chased the waves, and Ded Moroz threw a couple of tennis balls for Petyon and Sprout to fetch. Peachy just hung out and admired the big Haystack Rock.

After a great relaxing day at the beach, we went to the local camping grounds and pitched our tents. Elf Princess Megan Snow Rose son had to leave us but left us with some grass feed hamburger so we cooked up hamburgers and hot dogs at the campsite.

The Nature is gorgeous in Oregon and we fell asleep pretty quickly under the stars.
