Prompts day 16: Story to feature a vampire, werewolf, ghost and/or zombie.

“I don't believe in ghosts…”

James’s voice trailed off as a pale wraith lady glided towards him. He glanced desperately around the old house.

“Well?” Paul said. “You look like you're seeing one now!”

“I am…”

James backed against the wall. She came close, waving her hands frantically and whispering,

“Get out of here. Now!”

“We must leave!” James headed for the door.

“Why? It's fascinating.”

“She's warning us.” He tugged at Paul.

“You'll listen to an imaginary ghost?”

The structure groaned. Cracks spidered the ceiling. James yanked Paul outside, running away as it collapsed into rubble.

“Wow. Uh, thanks.”
