A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Sentence Documents Finished
Sentence Documents Finished

Despite only having about six hours today to work on my Calkin Cove scriptwriting project, I not only finished my spreadsheet for this project, but I also set up the sentence documents for this project. At least I did for my Act Breakdown, my Story Outline, and my Scene Outline.

Unfortunately, that’s all I accomplished today. The only thing left to do is set up my paragraph Story Outline and my Scene Outline for this project. After I get these paragraphs Outlines finished, I will be ready to start writing my sentences. Unfortunately, I may not get that done tomorrow.

After all, my paragraph Story Outline and Scene Outline documents are a little bit harder for me to create because they are a little bit more complicated than the sentence documents, especially the Scene Outline. The Story Outline is also complicated, but not as bad as the Scene Outline.

All I need to do with the Story Outline is to copy and paste the sentence Story Outline to the paragraph Story Outline. Then, all I need to do is delete the scene numbering for each of the six characters/storylines associated with these scene numbers. That shouldn’t take too long to do, though.

It’s the paragraph Scene Outline that may take some time to do. After all, my Scene Outline is set up like a television script with FADE INs, FADE OUTs, and Act Titles. Each Act also starts a new page like a television script. That’s why it’s a little more time-consuming than a Story Outline.

This scriptwriting project is a little bit different than some of mine. The Teaser Act One, Act One, and Act Two are the same scene numbering as Act Seven, Act Eight, and Tag Act Two. All I need to do is copy the first three Act numberings to the last three Act numberings.

The same is true for Act Three, Act Four, and Tag Act One. Only instead of Act Seven, Act Eight, and Tag Act Two, these scene numbers are for Teaser Act Two, Act Five, and Act Six. Of course, only the scene numbers and the characters associated with these scene numbers are the same.

It’s only the scene number and the characters associated with these scene numbers that are the same. The storylines associated with these characters are different. They are still the same storyline throughout this movie, but they are also different because of the progression of these storylines.

Whether I get these paragraph Story and Scene Outlines done tomorrow is still up in the air because of what my brother and I need to accomplish tomorrow. It depends only on how much time I have to work on this scriptwriting project as to whether I will get these documents finished tomorrow.

I think that I will have about four to six hours tomorrow to work on this project. If that’s true, I should have plenty of time to finish the planning and setup phase of these documents. Not only that, but I may even have some time to start writing the sentences for these documents.
