(1) (A) Apartment complex in Downey where Nolan lives.

There are 8 apartment units, four upstairs and four downstairs. There are two girls who live above him who have the hots for older Nolan, and their cousin lives in another upstairs apartment and she likes him, too. There is a tree in the courtyard, and a carport in the rear of the apartment complex.

(B) Gym where Nolan trains

It is a gym with two floors, cardio on the upper floor with a view of the buildings in downtown Los Angeles, and the weights downstairs. The pool is in a separate room not far from where the weights are, and there is a basketball court.

(C) Junior college where Nolan is studying kinesiology to become a personal trainer.

There is a library where Nolan can study and get online. There is a food court with a sandwich shop for healthy lunches. The P.E. building has an extensive weight room, as well as an outdoor swimming pool.

(D) The motel where Nolan fell into the time rift in Pismo beach. There is a grassy area in front of the motel with an ocean view.

(E) Bus stop in Norwalk close to the freeway, the green line stops there.

This is where Nolan must connect from the bus that left the college to get into the bus that takes him to Downey.
