A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
About a Half An Hour to Spare I’m ready to start writing my sentences for the Scene Outline for my Calkin Cove scriptwriting project. I could have started writing them today, but I wouldn’t have gotten more than about thirty of them done, aka the Teaser Act One, if I got that many done. After all, I only had about a half an hour to spare by the end of today. Maybe I should have tried to write these Scene Outline sentences today, but since I only had about a half an hour to write them, I didn’t think that I would get too far with them. If I were lucky, I would have gotten the Teaser Act One written, aka the first thirty sentences/scenes. Instead of starting these sentences today, I decided to start writing them tomorrow when I return to work at six PM WDC time for my first of two twelve-hour shifts. After all, I didn’t think that I would even get the Teaser Act One written today. If I did, it would have been one scene every minute, and I don’t write these sentences that quickly. I wish I could write my sentences that quickly, but it usually takes me two or three minutes to write them, and that’s if I’m lucky. It’s possible that I can write them within about a minute for each sentence, but that doesn’t happen too often, and not usually several sentences in a row. How did I accomplish writing ninety sentences today with only about four hours to write them? I don’t have an answer to that question because I don’t know how I wrote them that quickly. All that I know is that once I started writing them, they just fell into place one after another. It’s very unusual for me to accomplish that kind of writing. After all, that averages about twenty-two to twenty-three sentences every hour, a little over two minutes for every sentence, or about four and a half paragraphs every hour. That’s about the number of sentences and paragraphs that I can write in an hour. So, maybe it’s not as bad as I thought. Why did I only have about four hours to work on this project today? What is the usual reason that I don’t have the time to get more writing done than I should? That’s right. It’s because of what my brother and I needed to do today. My brother and I didn’t have too much we needed to accomplish today, but what we did need to do took us most of the day to do. As a result, I only had about four hours to work on this scriptwriting project. I was lucky that I got ninety sentences written today. Hopefully, I will continue having this luck when I return to work early tomorrow evening. After all, I have three hundred and sixty more sentences to write. That’s right. I have three hundred and sixty sentences to write before I finish writing my sentence Scene Outline and the sentences for my Calkin Cove project. After I finish writing these sentences for these scriptwriting projects, I will be ready to start writing my paragraphs for them. |
