A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Almost the First
Half of Part Four

The weather today was extremely bad. It wasn’t thunderstorm bad, but it was rain bad. Even the rain wasn’t too heavy most of the day, but it was almost constantly raining all day today. That isn’t the only reason why I only got fourteen paragraphs written for the Part Four mini-series Story Outline, but it’s one of the main reasons why.

My brother and I didn’t have too much to do today, but what we did have to accomplish took us about twice as long to do because of the bad weather today. We didn’t get what we needed to accomplish until the middle of the afternoon. As a result, I only had about four hours to work on this Water Wars scriptwriting project.

Overall, about four hours to work on this project isn’t too bad. After all, that equals three or four paragraphs every hour, or fifteen or twenty minutes for every paragraph. That may not be good writing for most writers, but it is for me. If I can get three or four paragraphs written in an hour, I think that’s good writing for me.

What does that mean for this Part? It means that I only have twenty-eight more paragraphs before I finish writing this Part Four mini-series Story Outline. Will I get all twenty-eight paragraphs written tomorrow? That isn’t very likely, but it is possible. I will need about seven hours to write this many paragraphs, and I doubt I will have that long tomorrow.

If I’m lucky, I may have another four to five hours to work on this project, and if I have that many hours to work on this Water Wars scriptwriting project, I will probably get another fourteen to twenty-one paragraphs written. Hopefully, it will be more than that, but I doubt it, especially since the weather is also supposed to be bad tomorrow morning.

Hopefully, I can make up the seven to fourteen paragraphs that I didn’t get written tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. I would really like to start writing my Episode Story Outlines starting this weekend during my twenty-four-hour shift at work, but I can’t do that unless I finish my five-part mini-series by the end of Friday. That isn’t looking very likely right now.

The sooner I finish writing these mini-series Story Outlines, the sooner I can start writing the Episodic Story Outlines for this project. Then again, I might not get to these Story Outlines this weekend after all. After all, Saturday is the first of November. That means a new WDC Short Story to write. Of course, that depends on when the prompt shows up.

I may still have part or all of this weekend to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Sometimes the new WDC Short Story prompt doesn’t show up for two or three days into the new month, but sometimes it comes in within the first day. They like to post these prompts on the weekend. So, there is a very good chance it could show up on Saturday.
