Dark? Sarcastic? Whimsical? Is it optimistic or pessimistic? Make a deliberate choice about the tone of your writing so you can stay consistent when you launch into writing your novel. The tone should be appropriate for your target audience.

Ayah's husband is murdered because someone tampered with his brake cables. One of his great uncles also dies and Ayah inherits Money and property as a result. After the death of her husband, she finds love and eventually finds herself engaged to be married again. In this story, she takes ownership of her inherited property, and more murders are discovered. She must help solve the mystery before she too becomes a victim of this malicious serial killer, who ends up being the new love interest. She must overcome the odds and survive.
