A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
It Looks Like It Will Be Scriptwriting I just checked before I started this blog entry, and there are no Short Story prompts yet, especially the WDC Short Story for this month. The most important Short Story for this and every month is the WDC Short Story. Of course, I want to do the other two short stories that I sometimes write in a month, but they are also unlikely this month. One of these two short stories is the Horror Short Story Contest. I don’t enter this contest too often, but I do it more than the second Short Story contest that I enter. I would enter the Science Fiction Short Story contest every month, but it isn’t a monthly contest like it’s supposed to be. The only monthly one I enter is the WDC Short Story contest. There is still a chance that I will be working on a Short Story while I’m at work this weekend, but it doesn’t look like it will be early this evening to early tomorrow morning. I will check for these prompts before I return to work today, but I’m not hopeful for any of these prompts. At least for my first twelve-hour shift this weekend, I will be working on my scriptwriting projects, aka my Water Wars paragraph Story Outlines. There is a very good chance that I may be starting my short stories during my second twelve-hour shift this weekend, on Sunday evening and Monday morning. There is a very good chance that I will be working on my scriptwriting projects all weekend while at work. One or more of these prompts may come sometime between now and tomorrow evening, before I return to work early Sunday morning, but it will be after I return to work for my second twelve-hour shift, especially my WDC Short Story. The hosts for the WDC Short Story have a very good habit of posting their new prompts soon after the end of a day. So, it’s possible that they will be posting it for this month soon after midnight WDC time this evening. Sometimes it’s right after midnight, and sometimes it’s a little bit later than that, usually, within about three hours of midnight. As for the other two Short Story contests that I sometimes write for, they can come in at almost any time of the day or night. They often come in the middle of the afternoon, but sometimes they come just before or shortly after midnight. It can be up in the air with them. I just checked before finishing this blog entry for today at about three PM WDC time, and the prompts still aren’t there. So, no matter how I look at it, I will be working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project during my first twelve-hour shift this weekend. It’s up in the air for my next one. |
