The Beauty of a Noise

Day 4021

There are sounds that one might call a 'noise'. As a sign language interpreter for hearing impaired or deaf, I have heard the sound of a newborn baby that the mother could not. But the cry of the newborn was music to me and relief to the mother, who only wanted to know if the baby was alive, okay and living. I had the pleasure to let all of them know the good news. The cry was so important. And even hearing mothers want that first sound to be the announcement from their baby, "I am here!" You parents can understand that. Congratulations for the birth and joy of your new family member.
