Me and Mine:

I write at poetry readings. Went to one tonight by Brian Blanchfield and Mary Jane Nealon. Brian needs to speak louder! Mary Jane did just fine. I bought her poetry book Rogue Apostle. Her poems about working with AIDS are wonderful. She gave me a copy of the poem, "Also inside the woman".

Friday evening: Villanova defeats William & Mary 14-13 at home in front of 4,171 fans to advance to the Championship in Chattanooga on the 18th. W&M Tribe have a scary defense... but Villa pulled it out at the end. Saturday? More like 24,000 fans to greet Appalachian State! The Boys from Boone would probably prefer to be in North Carolina. 20 degrees warmer there. But, they are used to some cold and regularly play in front of large crowds at home. Plus, they are a good team that has improved during the year.

Game is on ESPN at 2 p.m. MontanaStandardTime (4 p.m. EST)
