From My Mind to....

Bad News

Just a quick note to my friends. 

My wife's Mom passed away last Thursday.  She was living in northern Maine; all of her children live out of state.  Arrangements are chaotic because her Mom's executor is my wife's sister, who is currently scheduled for major surgery this Wednesday.  One of the son's is trying to get some of the details regarding their mother finalized, but the powers that be in Maine are balking because the executor must provide approval.  This is one seriously f-----up system, I think.

For now, we're trying to remain calm for both matters, and hoping some cooler heads in Maine will prevail, and sister's surgery is successful.  I'll be around WDC off and on over the next couple weeks.

I'll add more later as I find out what's going on.  Please take care during these holidays, my friends.
