From My Mind to....

Finally....

Today, with a deadline of two days to spare, I submitted one of my short stories to The Pedestal Magazine, an e-zine that is  published bimonthly.  The Pedestal offers a rich array of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and visual art.  You can find them at thepedestalmagazine.com.

The story was one I'd written for a September 2009 "Short Shots: Official WDC Contest"  contest.  Until I hear from the publisher, please note that I've changed the access to the story to Private.  Since this is new territory for me, I'd thought this would be a safer bet. 

Of course, this is part of my continuing resolutions for 2012 as outlined in my "Dear Me: My Campaign Begins" --to finally pursue the publication of one or more short stories or poems.
