Saving Earth *Earth*
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

A single tear fell from my eye,
as I watched your forests die.
My heart is broken up inside,
I know it was our fault it died.
Leaves of brown all crumpled up,
like a porcelain broken cup.
Riverbeds which run red,
from man’s chemicals and the dead.
Animals fleeing from the trees,
no more their homes, they say please.
Raindrops falling black,
it is oxygen that they lack.
Because our trees they are no more,
they are as damaged as the shore.
Fish surfacing on the beach,
isn’t that something that'll teach?
All mankind,are to blame,
they take from earth it is a shame.
they give back nothing to your home,
now it’s you who are alone.
Butterflies and bumble bees,
can give you no more guarantees;
That life will be like it once was,
our own greed will kill us.
Look around what can you do?
to take this world back for you.
Is it too late? I don’t know, but try, try, try, before you die…
