Wildflowers and bunnies
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

In a field of wildflowers
A bunny family lives,
Munching on the clover leaves
Growing all around.
There is a little girl who
Visits there each day,
To feed the bunnies carrots;
As she picks wildflowers
For her mother. She liked
To play make believe and
The rabbits were her friends.
They were not afraid of her
On her they did depend.
She brought there food most
Every day and knew each one by
Name. She called them she named
Them after the famous rabbits she
Had known since she was younger.
There was Flopsy, Mopsy, Peter, and
Bugs, Roger and Rhinestone too.
Rhinestone was her favorite because
She was the runt, she was not named
For a famous bunny but had an original
Name. Rhinestone was a tiny tot who
Loved the clover the best because her
Teeth weren’t strong enough yet to
Eat the crunchy carrots. The little girl
Loved her rabbits and visited each day
These were her very best friends for
Which she loved to play.
