Napowrimo Poem # 31 April, 24, 2016 Word count: 234 Line count: 35 Loving You By Lisa Noe ![]() From fifteen to fifty I have been yours I’ve grown up in your arms A tender love you gave to me I cherish every day I hope we shall never be apart But realistically I know the day will come In that day I have such dread I hope my memory stays in tact For over the years we have made sweet memories That I could not bare to live without All the cats we rescued remained in both our hearts Though children we weren’t blessed with It only made us closer as a team As a couple we loved so dearly We have had a special bond People long to have a love like the one we share Looking back over the years, I say my life with you was good I was in high school when first we met We attended prom and I was proud to be on your arm My friends were so jealous that I had an older man You were five years my senior, but our love was sweet and charmed I have always loved, will always love till I die. You will always my my very special guy A romance like ours can never end Even in death it will continue Until we both are together for eternity. We took the vows and we meant them Together we will stay, for forever is forever for best friends. |
