Why I Must Quit
A young heart, beating like the hummingbird,
Could drown a roar of crickets romantic rhapsody,
As I chased black-specked white leather in red laces
Until her delicate voice like Saran wrapped the scene.
Heavy the lumber left in the hall like tomorrow will never come.
