A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
While the crummy bar became crowded with the hustle and bustle of the usual nightly crowd, Jody sat at the end of the bar, scanning the room that he had ignored for hours.

"She is here" entered his thoughts as he caught a glimpse of her sitting by herself at a table.

His jagged eyes glanced here and there. The right place and on time, the Jody found his target and called the barkeep over with a wave.

"Hey, I want to buy the gorgeous lady a drink" he said to the barkeep as he pointed her out at the table.
Then Jody leaned in and whispered close to his ear "And something a little more for my friends who will be arriving shortly."

Jody handed him a roll of cash which he quickly stashed, once again the shop owner fell to his charms.

It was like the woman had been sprinkled with stardust. Browsing over her soft glowing aura it was the mark which he would never miss. He could feel it smell it even, and as his urges took control of him, the mark took form and glowed on her neck . It drew him in like a bee to honey. The smell of soft perfume wafted toward him as the beautiful woman crossed the floor of people and settled into the seat beside him.

It was time for him to step up his game and Jody poured on all of his charm. This would be her best night, her last night. The sexy woman had no idea of what was in store for her and she opened herself up to his advances. He turned toward the beautiful woman and smiled for; this was the time that Jody treasured the most.

The door swung open, Tiff and Bob entered the establishment and grabbed a table of the far side of the room. There they sat watching their suspect working his magic.

"Hi guys, here is your menus, you get a free drink with your food compliments of the house.Welcome to the
What will you have?" asked the waitress.

"The queen will have a corona and I’ll take a Shirley Temple please ... me being a lightweight and all." Bob replied with a grin.

"And I'll take a hamburg and fries and she will have mashed potatoes and chicken thighs!" laughed Bob as he answered the waitress.

They ordered their food and kept all the while They close eye on the pair as the waitress put in their order at the bar, but the barkeep seemed to be acting a little bit strange. In behind where no one could see, he put the crushed pills into their drinks and mixed them up, not too much but just enough. all the while smiling in their direction. The well dressed man winked to the owner of the establishment and it went unnoticed by the ones who watched him.

As the tray left the counter, the waitress served Tiff and Bob their food. They sat at their table, ate and drank trying to blend in and remain unseen.

Jody listened to the woman as she burst out laughing. He smiled and took his last drink before standing up, offering her his hand. There they danced over hardwood floors among the patrons.

After about  few songs, Jody glanced at the clock.

"It’s almost time." He thought to himself.

When the last song was finally over he held her close, putting his mouth to her ear.

"Let's get out of this dive" he whispered softly causing her to smile.

They walked slowly through the crowd and left the bustling pub.
