So your leaves are still enjoying the autumn colors. Our leaves have taken a beaten with the heavy winds. The lights flickered a couple times last night. Thankfully the power got back up and kept the heat going. Although, the internet went down for awhile while it rebooted back from the the short interruption in power.

We had quite a bunch of trick or treaters last night. It was cold rainy and very windy. But the kids were happy to be out and about the neighborhood. I love watching those creative costumes on Halloween. The little ones are adorable.

The moon was beautiful. There's something about a November moon with a frosty scent lingering in the air. I guess there will be snow in the not too distant future.

Happy Halloween!

Thankfully the kids will be here passing out candy with me. It gets quite busy in our town.

I have lots of candy. Hersheys Chocolate bars, REESE'S , and non chocolate/non peanut butter ones for those who are allergic. The town set a 5-7 p.m. trick or treat time. But, there's always delays and strays. By 8:00 we shut the lights. Those are usually the repeat visitors and much older "kids."

Covid changed so much. It was to our generations the thing that the Depression was to those who were here before.

I think Mark Twain was jealous of Jane Austen's success. Even though he was famous too, I think he realized that she was the better writer.

I was going to clean the kitchen and I got lazy. I was going to clean the kitchen the past 3 days. Tomorrow is Labor Day, so I can labor. I will clean the kitchen.

WDC Anniversary Birthday Celebration. I can't wait to see the activities and new Merit Badges. I am like a kid at Christmas. I have 2 forums myself here for the Birthday Activity.

I have been watching The Mod Squad on DVDS. I love this show. Any other Mod Squad Fans besides me? I am taking a break tonight from watching this show.. I gave my kitty fresh water. I gave her dry food.

No rain until Wednesday. We do need it. Florida and other states get rain but not Indiana.

Cookout Day. My husband is having steak. I am having hot dogs, cheeseburgers and chips.

Happy Labor Day! On with the countdown. Happy WDC Birthday everyone! Love you.
