| So I just dropped off my resume at the coffee shop. Fortunately, I believe the manager was there! I hope I get a call from them in a week or so. On my way back to my house, I prayed over two teenagers! It was short but sweet and after the prayer, they heartily thanked me. What a blessing, both ways. I offered to pray for a young lady, but she refused. Hopefully, my mere approach will affect her. I am still waiting for two applications to get back to after I applied on Wednesday on the Indeed job search engine. Usually, they get back to me in the first or second day. Oh, well. It is what it is. lol. I have to be patient and positive. Well how much more can I say? It's a beautiful day. The temperature is just right! I did feel a little hot when I walked into the house. It's a little breezy but that is a good thing. lol. Apparently, it was supposed to rain today, but the sky is totally clear. It did sprinkle a bit yesterday. My stepdad, Jim, is getting surgery and blood injections in both knees and his left shoulder-all because of pickleball. lol. Today was his first day back since his nearly two-week time off. The physician is a brother in Christ and he is not charging us. We met him at the pickleball accident. Praise God for that! I was reading that the majority of Californians do not support Gavin Newson to run as the Democrat 2028 presidential nominee. This man does not have the best in mind for this country. The Democratic part is in disarray and their approval rating is at an all-time low. Latisha James is being charged for fraud after accusing Trump of the same thing! How Ironic. My mom has been watching Charlie Kirk lately. He completely shuts down all who try to trap him. He goes to universities debating things regarding politics, culture, spiritual matters, intellectual points and so on. Well, that's it for today! Chow! |
| So, I made a Writer's Cramp yesterday-the first in over two weeks. My entry didn't win, but at least I wrote it. lol. I began the beginning of my proofread of my novel. My plan is to edit it one hour day. My hope is that I will be able to write a story and do editing every day. So, something happed on Sunday. While playing pickleball, which is basically tennis mixed with ping pong. My stepdad fell twice and hurt his knee. As of today, he got his MRI scheduled for today. Thanks Jesus! Apparently, the results will come as early as this Friday. Hopefully, it will only need therapy. Again, thanks be to God, we got the referral the same time as the initial appointment that happened today. Understandably, he is taking the week off from work for a week. Our extra solar panels were worked on today. However, the workers found an issue-there are lots of broken tiles and 400 more tiles are needed. The house was built in 2001, so it is kind of understandable. Sunrun, the company we went with, will supply the roofing too. I haven't played a video game in months! Honestly, I would rather write or learn Excel. My best friend finally called me! It's been almost a year. Apparently, I offended him on the phone-something about ignoring him on the phone. Hopefully, we will resume regular contact and conversation. He and his family are going through a tough time financially. It's been this way for years. I plan to send them a check to support them. My friend is part of a family of three, with his younger brother who does the bills and contributes most to the situation. He alone is the Christian in the family. I hope he and his family get out of this predicament soon. So, as any up to date with culture and entertainment, Snow White staring Rachel Zegler, was a catastrophic flop! It took approximately at least $150,000,000 to $250,000,000 to produce. lol. It appears she is quite the hot head. She lauded the movie as less of a love story and more of a feminine empowerment plot. Real dwarves were not used. Rather, they used CGI for the little characters. lol. I do think I am improving my touch typing! And it's fun too! Wel, that's that! See yah! |
| Today was church service and it was my first time sitting by my friend, Nate. He's a good guy. I took him to eat at Inn "N Out afterwards. lol. I like him because he is very easy to talk to. He voiced his interest in going shooting at the range. One thing or another has kept us from Going. So, at church I got prayer from a brother about my job situation. I told him I am thinking of getting a data entry job. He said it is a boring job, but I am looking to obtain a remote entry level job. I checked it out on Google and data entry is one of the top fewest online jobs. Another job is a virtual assistant. In one way or another, these jobs overlap. For example: data entry may include administration duties. One thing I have noticed is that most DA jobs come with training, a few with paid training! Nevertheless, I am sure some type of knowledge is needed. I am officially a touch typist! I have been averaging 20 words a minute. lol. Apparently, it will take several months to achieve truly see significant results. My mom showed me a just breaking news update from Israeli reporter named Amir. I forget his last name. He confirmed that Iran has acquired enough uranium to build six nuclear bombs! President Trump has given the head of Iran an ultimatum: don't make any or else. The man has disregarded the warning and is continuing with its efforts. A potential war may break out. We are definitely in amazing times! Every day is something new. The world is changing rapidly and we need to stay informed and engaged. Jesus is coming soon! We have to be ready and willing to face hard times. Well, that's it for me. Chow! |
| Ah what a day! I got up really early, and I immediately I started reading the Word. About ten minutes into it, my friend Gale texted me. I haven't seen her in a while. She said she hopes she attends tomorrow's morning service. If she doesn't attend the 8am service, I will miss I will not see her. The 10am service was packed two weeks ago. So, the midterm elections are coming, and it is paramount! We need Godly men and women in the political seats and we conservatives need to be in prayer. But, in the whole repertoire of issues, there is none more important than abortion. Someone must rise up and stand for life. God has given us a reprieve and we must take advantage of it and change. The war in Ukraine continues. And Trump is trying to compile a peace deal. And the road is rocky. I do not know the latest on the matter exactly, but it remains volatile. It's been a long time since my best friend called me. I'm thinking of sending him a letter. I don't know what is up but I continue to pray for him. I just took a long nap. Even though I typed so little, I was still tired. lol. It may stem from my more meticulous focus as I type without looking. It seems to drain me. I have to break into doing it as I go on practicing daily. So I am still trying to find a site where I can practice on an Excel worksheet without downloading anything. Downloading anything can carry risk. I Googled the question, "is it safe to download sheets from a certain site" and it replied it is generally safe to do so. the word "generally" does not sit with me right. lol. I'll have to check with my brother. So, I need to get back into the groove of writing fiction soon. I'm attempting to break into just by putting down words on a screen. lol. | It's another beautiful day! I feel good since I did my volunteer work for the digital outreach ministry. One I replied to was a very long post! The poster was having self-esteem issues. Although this person was very accomplished, he was mentally deterred. I counseled him to look at the good in his life. The online community prohibited religious/spiritual content so I couldn't encourage him in that way. I did my best and I hope God will work through that. Ever since I began improving my typing, I feel fatigued and lethargic. I already have my finger muscle down. Anyway, yesterday I texted a few friends and two got back to me. A younger friend of mine is enjoying his apprenticeship program. He has the job of a human resources employee. He says he is having fun with it. lol. He asked me if I needed prayer for anything. I requested that he pray for my job desire. But I ended it by saying if it is only God's will. I have been seeking jobs up the yahoo for years specifically on the job search Indeed. And all of them have fallen through. I really hope God will open doors for me. I don't want to live in a group hope or be supported by others when I am in my fifties! Nevertheless, I am excited for my future! God is faithful and he will work in my life. As of right now, I am written down as permanently disabled. And if I make over $1,600 a month I'll screw up my health insurance and drug coverage. There has to be a loophole somehow! But as the Word says-"God will make a way when there seems to be no way." I'm not worried though. All things will pan out and fall into place. If and when I do get a job, I will give thanks to God. Even though I may not get a data entry job, I still will learn Excel for fun. lol. There are some sites that teach the program but they require a download. I Googled a site and it said it is "generally safe." I am still going to see what my bro says. He is a software engineer. That's it for now. Goodbye!  |
| So I am practicing my typing skills and I am gradually getting better! I'm focusing on accuracy now. Speed will come next. lol. I's actually quite fun. I am learning on not looking at the keyboard. It's coming along easier that I thought. I got up super early this morning at 5:30 am. The first thing I did was to spend time with God for an hour. I read through the book of Luke. Specifically, I recall the part that speaks of people being evil and how if we as humans are inherently evil, know how to give good gifts, that God will all the more give the Holy Spirit to those who ask. I thought it was a good read with good points in it. So, after my bro sent me a YouTube vid on excel, I have mastered 17 functions. It's really fun! I need to learn more formulas, however. lol. Altogether, I learned 17 formulas. But those are just the basic ones though. There are more videos that include downloadable worksheets but that would mean putting my PC security at risk. I'm thinking of taking a Coursera course on excel so I can practice on live data sets. My initial goal as of right now is taking up a data entry job. I came across a data entry job that includes paid training. That would rock! But like with everything, it must align with God's permission. The last job I lined up with ended up being a scam.  It was very convincing, honestly. They wanted my SSN! They said it was for a background check, but my bro and my brother-in-law advised me not to do it. So, that was that. lol. I haven't written a story in a while. I should do that soon. So, my church has moved into its new building, and it is huge compared to the last one! Last night I attended 6:30 service. I saw my friend Tracy. I meant to see if she has an Instagram account, but she was talking to someone else and I was in a hurry. Maybe next time. lol. She is really nice to me. Service time went over because the worship leader wanted to do extended worship. It was nice. Well, that's it for now. Goodbye! |
| So, I have written for four or five Cramp entries in a row! Today I am just doing a blog entry since it is so late. Lol. I won once. My hearts breaks for the LA fire. It has decimated the Pacific Palisades. I forget who said it, but I heard this could be the judgment from God on the Hollywood elites. I think it was the Grammys where they openly mocked God! So it is possible that holy retribution. Nevertheless, I pray and hope for an end to the catastrophe. I am hoping for rain over the fires. I am talking a torrential downpour to snuff out the rampant flames! All of us Christians should be on our knees praying just like we prayed for the office of President Trump. I applied for a job on Indeed and I got a return message! Strangely, this message came only in my email and the HR representative wants me to give my email to send info. So, I sent my email anyway. Lol. I hope the HR person gets back to me. But, if it is not God’s will. So be it. It is right up my alley though-a writing job! I am very eager to assume this role. Speaking of writing, I still need the church secretary/facilitator to go over my book so I can sell copies of my book at the bookstore. I’m really excited! If this works out I will, try the same thing at Fervent, another church that is affiliated with the one I just mentioned at the start. My mom will be visiting her cousin in late June. She’ll be there for a week. I don’t recall a time when they saw each other. If they have, it must have been decades ago. Gavin Newsom is hoping to be the Democratic nominee for president in 2028. The man is a vile individual! He defunded the fire department and look what happened. And so far the mayor is totally silent on the matter. In a press meeting, she had nothing to say in response. I am telling you! The far left lunatics have no borders. The most powerful left democrats are a demonically infused cult, bent on destabilizing our great country. We must weed out the bad guys and Trump and his new administration D.O.G.E will clean house! One they aim to do is cut the absurd salaries of bureaucrats. God certainly gave us mercy with Trump. It would have been 1929 all over again. Phew! Trump is going to have to deal with all garbage left over from Biden. The first executive bill will be to secure the border and send in Tom Homan, the border czar. I can’t wait! The deportation will be costly, but it will be worth it in the long run. Also, one of the top priorities is to cut taxes significantly. I am very curious about Trumps administration and what he will do. He is indeed a patriotic man, but he needs Jesus, nonetheless. | What a good day. My friend was very late in picking me up today for church. So much that my stepdad thought he would not show. But he texted me he was outside my house at the last minute. It was very cold in the sanctuary. I was wearing a thick sweater, but I felt it on my shoulders. We began the book of Luke. I forgot the title of the message, but we went from chapter one and read from verse one through twenty-five. The first chapter is long-eighty verses. We watched a brief video clip of the Filipino ministry proceedings like a candlelight service and the salvation of many people over a period of a few weeks. The video was loud. Lol. I had to plug my ears. Mike Johnson was reelected as speaker of the house. I honestly do not know if he is a good guy. Pastor Jack Hibbs is friends with the man, so I don’t know. I’m also still wondering if Elon Musk is square. I am all in for the D.O.G.E. program. And I think he and Vivek will do lots of good for this nation. Nevertheless, I know Musk has some questionable “AI” stances. His vision of the use for Neurolink is a little shady. Theoretically, it can go far as using this device as a cranial remote controls to operate electronical appliances. Not only that but it is a precursor to ESP. This entire notion of course must be gauged by the Holy Spirit’s wisdom. It will not be the mark of the beast or anything but it is already raising red flags for many people. We will recognize the mark of the beast because it will be accompanied by the beast and his image. I have played a total of roughly five hours of gameplay on Jedi: Survivor. I Googled it and it said the game lasts for about 20 hours of gameplay or 50 hours of play for those gamers who like to explore all the hidden bells and whistles. I finished my story I began I started from the old WdC official contest. I accidently wrote for the What a Character prompt. Lol. As always, my story had a strong spiritual element to it. It still needs to be edited. This Thursday is the six-week US constitution class starting at 9:30 am. My stepdad, Jim, will be attending it. I do not think I’ll be going. Well, that’s it for now. | I can’t wait until the regular story and poem entry prompts come back in with the Writer’s Cramp. I’m itching to write a story to start priming my mind so I can make a good last part to complete my unfinished story entitled Alex and The Paraclete Order. Just how I replied in the Author’s newsletter, this story will be traditionally published book. For my debut novel I gave up after giving up having it traditionally published after being turned down by a negligible three rejections. Lol. This time I’m going all out. Once I get the Christian Writer’s Market book for the year of 2025, I will begin making simultaneous submissions. Of course, with going down this road, a big nuisance is waiting. Lol. Nevertheless, I must be patient and follow the submission guidelines. This is something that is the reason a lot of stories are rejected. I got up early today and the first thing I did was to spend time in the Word. Many theologians agree that the book of Romans is the most substantial book in the New Testament. In one of the epistles a different author states how Paul the apostle wrote some things that are hard to understand. Romans is one of them. lol. In one part he talks about faith, grace and the law. It was a little confusing. It definitely requires the Holy Spirit to comprehend. After that I fixed myself breakfast and did the dishes. Next, I listened to some worship. At about 10 am I hit the PS4. I am making progress in Jedi: Survivor! One feature that is unique and helpful is how the game records how long you have played. If I recall accurately from this morning, I have spent about two and a half hours playing the game. At twelve I prayed with my mom at which time I turned the PS4 off. All of this leads up to the present. Lol. It’s pretty cold out-56 degrees to be exact. I totally forgot today is the first of the year. I texted four friends wishing them a happy new year. So, my new Years pledge is to write everyday-whether it’s blogging or fiction writing. However I will give myself days off. I don’t want to get burnt out. I really miss writing. Lol. Well, I’m a little fatigued. I am not used to so much writing. Lol. Good bye. |
| Today was good. Although, I did not get up at 5:33 am, I did get up at about 7 am. I spent an hour in the Word. I read through the latter part of Acts and part of Romans. Specifically, it was about Paul’s former cohorts who accused him of false charges. His charge was brought to Rome in front of governor Festas, then to Felix who succeeded him. King Agrippa also was a spectator. Eventually, Paul appealed to Ceasar. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulation, for tribulation, and tribulation to perseverance, perseverance character, and character hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. – Romans 5:3-5. I memorized those verses. After that, I hit the PS4. I got slightly farther in the game. I played for an hour and a half. Next I did the dishes. Then, I cooked eggs and bacon. I usually take three slices but the older package was slightly molded, so I threw it out. Once again, I did the dishes remaining from my breakfast. All these things lead to his present moment. Not much to say. Lol. The Writer’s Cramp is doing a weeklong poetry activity. I don’t feel like poetry now. Later tonight I will be going to church at 6:30 pm. That’s what is going on, pretty much. I am at least happy I actually showed up and did this blog entry. Well, until tomorrow! |
