| Dear God, Gracious Heavenly Father, Your display of "shock and awe" last night is still ringing in my ears. What lightening what thunder. Everything lit up in the midnight sky and the heavens roared. I am glad to be Your child as You prepare for the homegoing of Your church. How wonderful it will be to meet Your Son Jesus in the air on that glorious day! I will remember last night as how quick and glorious will be the church's snatching away in the Hour of our Lord. Thank You for the reminder! 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words. Your Church is thriving Lord, Your church is glowing with beauty. Those who were not of us are departing swiftly and those chosen for the return of Your Son are putting on their veil, adorning themselves with service, and proclaiming that the awesome day of the Lord is at hand!
