Thoughts, we all have them. What is yours?

What is on your mind? I love all type of topics and will talk about almost anything! So, what is happening with you lately?

Come, tell me about yourself. What excites you about writing? What other things do you do: Art, music, animals?

Prompt #28: If you could create a charitable foundation with billions of dollars in resources, what causes would you try to tackle?

It would be to end homelessness. In a country as wealthy as ours, homelessness should not be rapid. With billions in resources, no Veteran, senior or child should be living on the streets. First, temporary shelters could be established using vacant city lots with over site by the charitable organization created. These temporary shelters should provide housing, showers and food sources. Helping those to be clean, fed and have a place to sleep, then programs to assist in obtaining employment should begin. I would love to see a program where everyone who is considered homelessness, would be involved in the program itself. A organization that would employ billions of dollars/resources should be able to utilize the talents (even how minimal) of those who are being helped.

If people are healthy enough to do some type of work, should do so. Any skills taught or brought to the organization by the homelessness, would apply back into the organization. Clerical workers, trades, talents learned via Veterans can be utilized to support the organization. It sounds like a massive take on, but I do believe it could work. Those individuals that have health issues, whether drugs or illnesses, would have to be exempt for the work contribution program and be encompassed in a separate program but indirectly connected to the charitable foundation. As these individuals improved in the health situation they would be required to give back in some fashion.

I don't have all the details work out in my mind but I do feel it is feasible.

Prompt #27: If you had a single wish to change one thing about the world to make it a better place, what one thing would you change if you wanted to do the most good?

This is very hard. I am not sure one thing could make a big difference and do the most good. If there is one thing, it would be everyone's skin color would be the same. However, with that said, people's nature would be to find something else to fight about. It seems to be human nature.

Prompt: "I am not be perfect, I'm here to be real." Lady Gaga Gaga Write about this in your Blog entry today.

Well, none of us are perfect, as the Bible tells us. And if the quote above was spoken as it was written for the exercise, then she is definitely not perfect (I am not be .....). We are all practicing in this world. All going through a testing period of sorts. We learn new things every day about people and about ourselves.

Lady Gaga isn't one I follow so I can't really say what her quote was in regards to. For her to say she is here to be real; I would say what is real to her. If she dresses up, does stage performances is that real. Not everyone does those things but they may say that they feel real. Being alive is real.

Prompt #25: Describe your dream vacation if you were to have unlimited funds and unlimited vacation days.

It would be an extensive trip, minimum 3 weeks, to Rome. I want to see all the history, art that it has to offer. I want to see the countryside and maybe visit a family who produce wine. Living with a family would be amazing (hopefully they speak some English).

If I could have, I would have done this years ago, when in the best of health and could walk the city, museums, grounds. But, thank God we have videos to see some of those places I would not see otherwise.
