Thoughts, we all have them. What is yours? |
My husband was in the hospital for which turned out to be Afib. The hospital cardiology doctor wanted to change his meds but my husband was not happy as he had been on them for years, working for years. His GP doctor didn't agree with the hospital doctor but what is worst is that my husband VA cardiologist didn't agree with the hospital cardiologist. Now this get scary when two doctors that practice the same parts of the body don't agree. Who do you trust. The GP had only one small change and agreed that Fred should keep the meds that he had been on for years, the same. They we go to the VA cardio doctor and she changes them a bit. I having more fear because my husband is scared in the change. Part of the change had to do with his diabetic meds, which really didn't have anything to do with his visit to the hospital. I am praying that the last change we make is the right change. Seabreeze |

Big Places. Yesterday I took my husband to the Tampa VA Hospital for a test. I had been dreading this trip because that place is so big and it is hard to find where you are suspose to go. The time before when we went for a test, we could not find a place to park. I drove around and around, went into the parking garage as they indicated we should do, but no place to park. We did not, at that time, have a handicap sticker so we could not use their Valet parking as we did not have the sticker. Anyways, we went home. This time, I was ready. I had gotten the handicap parking stickers/handing guide. We immediately found a parking place but even though I called ahead and tried to be sure where to park, damn if I did not park too far away from where I really should have parked. So, my husband being 92 and cannot walk miles (believe me, I am sure that is how far I walked), we got help for him; a wheelchair and a big guy. Well, the big guy, nice, walked fast. So I am keeping up but the next day getting out of bed, my bad back told me that was not a good idea. So, this morning I am going to the Chiro Doc. Did I say big places suck! No more big places, like Disneyland. However, I am going to Busch Gardens for my 80 birthday. I want to see the Flamingoes. Hi Doc, good to see you again. Seabreeze |
