| I had a beautiful day today. The sun was shining on my birthday after a week of rain. I have received so many birthday wishes from my friends here at writing.com and each one has made my day even better. My great granddaughter, who is four decided I needed a fairy garden in my garden. My present was a fairy garden in a box. It included two fairies, toadstools, butterflies and rabbits. She took them all outside and found the perfect spot. I wasn’t allowed to come outside until the job was complete. As it is going to rain she put nasturtium leaves to act as umbrellas to keep them dry. What more could make a great grandmother’s birthday the best.  |
