I loved Vincent Price, just rented the Pit and the Pendulum to watch again. I heard it read at a Poe event, I came home and read it again myself then watched. It brought back some cool memories of watching Vincent Price with my friends.

I remember The Birds so well, which is a miracle, considering my memory of late. But that movie didn't scare me. Maybe. Vincent Price did more. It might have been the tone of his voice and his special kind of articulation.

I am a bit the same. Those movies you mentioned such as Saw and Chainsaw Massacre I couldn't watch those. However I love things like Monster series on Netflix and just watched The Ed Gein Story and loved it. Which is strange to say but I think for me the real life horror is more psychology type thing. Why are these people the way they are?

I flip flop back between do I believe people are born evil or is it their environment etc.

In Ed's case I think that his mother and father had mental issues which can be hereditary, so most likely he had mental issues when he was born and then his upbringing with parents, especially his mother manifested those mental issues. It maybe could have been different had his issues been picked up when he was younger and helped. He eventually was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Anyway, probably didn't want to read all that ha ha ha.

Our world is so dependent on the internet and electricity, it would be utter chaos and dangerous. I can't imagine hos much crime would take place in a world like that.

Tea

I've been ill recently. Write about your favorite hot or cold beverage when you're feeling ill.

Sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. I too was in hospital recently and whilst I was tied to a hospital bed I craved tea on tap. The cups of tea, when they did make an appearance, were small and lukewarm. I love a large cup of very hot tea. My favourite is English Breakfast followed closely by Yorkshire Tea.
I was very lucky though, my beautiful granddaughter brought me a large breakfast cup to use whilst I was there and when I could get out of bed I’d wander down the hallway and make myself my favourite brew.

When I have a cold though nothing beats lemon and honey with perhaps just a nip of whiskey.
