I think maybe a supporting role to the main character would be a good one. This way you can still enjoy a little of the spotlight without getting all of it.

I also go through a lot of cheese out home ranging from cheddar, feta and string cheese (mozzarella) plus enjoy others. Only problem is that I have a minor allergy to something in dairy. Oops.

We can either Knock, knock, knock on heaven's door or the one to getting older. Hmm! I have decided to try to view aging in a positive light. Yeah, the body deteriorates as we age. That's not too fun, but if every day is a gift and a new adventure. Then why not embrace it? Just saying.

Knocking on 50's door!

I remember taking my oldest son when he was not quite one for breakfast. He grabbed the milk and when I went to reach for it he threw it. The man in the next booth wasn't amused at all. The man yelled and my son cried every time after that when we go to McDonalds. We've had many different experiences over the years with our children and our grandchildren.

I've been keeping a little secret since July 29th, 2025. I guess this is the perfect opportunity to spill the beans. I know that tattoos are a bit of a controversial topic in Christianity. I don't believe getting one is necessarily a sin or that getting one is going to send you straight to Hell. Having said this, I actually got my first tattoo. I have been debating within myself if I wanted to share this fact or not.

First of all, in my defense, I prayed about it first. I believe you should pray about everything, as much as you can. I felt a peace about getting it.

The tattoo is of 2 eagles circling each other in flight. It is on my right shoulder blade area. I am thinking I will add a scripture to it in the near future, but with it being my first, I didn't want to do too much all at once. I wanted to just get my feet wet. I want to add Exodus 19:4b ...I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

I'd actually like to get a second one on the back of my right forearm. Phil. 4:13, just the scripture reference to remind me I can do anything with God's help. I would consider getting more. No, I don't want to go overboard. I am just proceeding with purpose.

There is a scripture that says, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:28 I believe this verse refers to pagan practices of the time.

I also believe we need to be careful what we merge ourselves with. There are tattoos that I would not want to get as a Christian. Tattoo parlors in themselves are not always well lit and usually have dark themes. I think this is definitely something that requires wisdom and discretion.

As a Christian sometimes we are walking a thin line between right and wrong. I believe intention is a huge part of rather something is sin or not. I believe we can get caught up on one side of the other in the Christianity pendulum. One side is constantly casting out demons from everything rather it's needed or not and walking on eggshells. The other side is too complacent and indifferent and appear to be more spiritually dead than alive.

Personally, I am careful. I try to do what is right. I try to treat everyone with love and respect rather they deserve it or not. I am far from perfect, but that's why I need Jesus. I am usually a little more on the step back and observe side of things unless I need to step up and step in. I can be an extremely intense individual when the time calls for it and sometimes even when I shouldn't be. I guess balance is the key. You have to find some kind of balance in life.
