You just took me back years!

Yes, landlines, extra long extension cord in my family home. You could walk with the phone into another room for quiet and privacy.

Now with cell phones, too long conversations make the battery hot!

Although an hour on the phone with a loved one is a blessing.

Ẃeβ࿚Ẃỉtcĥ - that sale was fascinating.
The prices kept me from buying mugs, rucksacks, hats, socks, diaries and myriad other items. But I enjoyed all my three visits!

Great to read of your collections, I'm sure the stuff brings back some nostalgic memories of where / how you got it!

Oh, sonali, it sounds like you had a fabulous day of retail paradise! I understand about collections. I used to go to flee markets, tag sales, antique shows... etc! I loved collecting china. Flow blue was on the top of my want to haves. Also old time pots and pans and cast iron ...I love to cook!

As years went on, I didn't have the space to keep collecting. Now I must think of how to dispose of what I have. I can't possibly use all the stuff I've collected, and the kids have enough of their own stuff and are not interested in pass-on's.

At least you collect reasonably that which you are passionate about, Smaller items that are useful each day. Also, you gift bunches of them so you aren't looking for more space for all of them on a shelf or fridge.

Ah, go for it, I say! Plus you make your fellow Potterheads very happy.
