I enjoyed the entire drive-in experience. As a kid, watching a big screen movie from the family car felt like an adventure. Nobody shushed us, or insisted we sit still. We always saw at least two movies, sometimes three. Sadly, most drive-ins have disappeared, victims of developers.
It definitely isn't easy, SandraLynn. I try to hold on to more memories now by taking pictures and journaling. At least that way, the memory is still from my perspective!

Trouble came along.
I probably shoulda guessed.
It was neither rhyme nor reason
that got me in this mess!
My head is somehow empty,
my mind's broken and confused.
But I couldn't find it in my heart of hearts
to Blame it on My Muse.
