This is a continuation of my blogging here at WdC

This will be a blog for my writing, maybe with (too much) personal thrown in. I am hoping it will be a little more interactive, with me answering questions, helping out and whatnot. If it falls this year (2024), then I may stop the whole blogging thing, but that's all a "wait and see" scenario.

That's funny. I never even thought that deeply about the water situation on Tatooine, but you're right. And, ultimately, we should all hope to have books so well-written that at first glance, no one notices such things, but perhaps so popular, that later people dig for details to pick us apart on. I mean, I can see your point here. And, in hindsight, yes. But still, who knows? Maybe, like our own world, much of it used to be covered with water. If you look at many places, there is evidence of water, erosion, shells, where there is none now. Maybe someone needs to write the historical backstory of ancient Tatooine. lol

Anyway, thanks for bringing this up and making us think! You always bring so much to the table here!

And here’s the thing – can you think of a recent song about taking your partner and just getting away from a life of drudgery? I mean, released recently, say, last 20 years? I can’t, and I am a music nerd. Why? Maybe we realise there is no escape. Maybe the world has beaten us down too hard.

I also think there are other possibilities. Maybe now it's about running toward something we want rather than away from something. Or perhaps we already managed to run away and we're successful. We don't need songs about running away when we've managed to escape the traps that bound previous generations.

I am serious. He wanted to kill me for making fun of Jesus. The fact I am on the other side of the world and he is a keyboard warrior nowadays would probably make me goad him; back then, I did panic.

Glad they didn't carry it out! Some reviews totally cross the line. Around here, we get spoiled... I feel peeved when someone gives me three stars. I think I especially hate it when they say "hey, good story..." Without any reason for giving less than five stars, or at least four if it just didn't appeal to them

citruspocket - I have a 50 page rule. Within 50 [pages, I give up. But many of these I read to be patriotic or for school or for book clubs.

Never again.

And I hope you enjoyed the Magic Pudding even if the pudding itself was a little scary...
