This quotation told us about a deep love and curiosity for both life and death. Loving life felt unintentional and remained tie to various joyful experiences, emotions, and connections that gave the meaning to existence.
Although the author didn't claim to love death, there interest with it as a life-changing process rather than an end.
Embracing both life and death brought wisdom and harmony, suggesting that to love fully means to appreciate all sides of existence.

Do we credit Shakespeare for saying the world/life is a stage? Sure, sometimes we may be insincere, acting if you will, but many of us cherish life. I don't believe we are cynics. Most of us do find meaning.

I was and still am very close to my cousins around my age when younger. Nowadays, I'm just as close to the ones who are 10 to 15 years younger than me. But then I'm the second oldest of my generation. The one older than me by ten months lives in Netherlands. A good number of my cousins are deceased now. And I had a huge number of them when we were all young.

Though my dad had two sisters, the three of them produced 12 cousins; my mom's side led to 15 cousins. Because of the geographical location of all the families--Maine, Maryland, Vermont, New York, Michigan and Missouri--it seemed the only time we would get together was for a family tragedy, like my grandfather's passing. I can't recall we ever had a family reunion.

I envy the fun time and closeness you experienced with your cousins.

Your situation was very much like my older sister's. She was an only child (though she also grew up occasionally with my dad's kids from his first marriage), but she was very close to my older cousins (who are her age). They act like siblings when they're together. It's always fun listening to stories from when they were kids. My sister is 15 years older than me and my older cousins are roughly around that age range too. I have some other cousins who are around my age too (siblings of those older cousins lol). I'm glad that your cousins helped bring joy and happiness to your life.

Thanks. I actually sat down to write something funny about a messy cupboard. After I came up with "I flick the switch," the whole thing took the opposite turn and I went with it. My mind is tricky!

Cozy Home

Prompt:
What is your idea of a cozy home? Write about this in your Blog entry today

A cozy home for me is a place where those who live in it live in peace without any strife but with cooperation and mutual respect. It is a haven where its occupants can just be themselves.

This is because coziness isn't what one sees and touches. It isn't a place that is showroom-perfect with the finest, expensive things. It can be imperfect, lived-in (tell me about it!), and its walls and furniture serve as a sanctuary. For example, a comfortable chair is just a chair until I settle into it to read. Plus, I know where my things are, even though, at times, I make myself crazy, forgetting where I put anything, even a minute ago.

Still, it is a soft landing, a gentle embrace, and a reminder to rest, reflect, and reconnect. As such, all furnishings and every aspect of the house tell me, its occupant, "You are home; you are safe; you can relax."

A cozy home also shows the personal touches of the people who live in it. Its objects tell stories with its photographs on display that capture shared memories and souvenirs. These aren't just decorations, but they are the artifacts of a life, filled with meaning and history. I can say this because, at my age, my artifacts abound.

More than anything, my cozy home is also about the atmosphere where every detail, no matter how small, whispers to me the message of "Welcome. It is here, where you belong."
